Florida Festival Series
Tallahassee, Sarasota, Gainesville hosted and all went well. Tampa Krewe Women FFS is this upcoming weekend. Next year more Xplorer compliance.
Match Times
Florida Youth still working on their schedule. Roy to follow up to see if they can provide so that we can match games with FRU games.
Taxes
Mindy (Tax accountant) is working on our update for previous tax years.
2026 State Championship
Ashford went and did a walkthrough of Villages Polo Club with Kerri on Facetime. Provided us a good quote for potential All Florida Day. Working on an updated quote for state championship.
Compliance of Clubs
FIU played 7s tournament without registered players. Murray working on getting updates from the club to get them in compliance.
Kerri suggested we have a compliance list on the website to keep track. St Thomas is also not compliant. Patrick to send invoice for the fall Florida dues.
Updates
Roy (Refs): Fort Myers had a great ref course. 13 people attended. Roy said he would waive 10 people requirement if a club provided players to use during the day for next ref course.
Ashford (Admin): Working on 7s page for more info of next years 7s season. Working on having a RugbyXplorer walk through. Ashford and Jen will be coaching Florida Rugby 7s team in regionals in the spring. Players were selected after this past weekends selection camp.
Patrick (Treasurer): Patrick is working on getting a new bank account for FRU. .
Jenn R (Secretary): Almost at cap for mailchimp. Jenn will go through old emails and remove.
Jen F (Senior Women): Krewe Cup is coming up this weekend. Miami Sirens, SWFL Lady Hammerheads and Krewe will participate. Women’s teams have been traveling for friendlies. Orlando to Battleship, Jax to Pensacola, Fort Miami went to NY.
Murray (College Men): FCC 7s tournament upcoming. Discussed posts for tournament.
Liz (College Women): 15 season is done. UF went to conference championships in SC. Tournament over the weekend. Getting ready for spring 7s.
